Ky-Mani

Ky-Mani has been an extremely popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the most wealthy and most successful. In the classic cult movie Shottas he starred opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records for his 1996 debut album Like Father Like Son album and singles such as Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the number one British reggae album chart), Who The Cap (remix), Sensimelia and more all added to the increasing recognition for his new generation reggae music. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces along with Praswell (Fugees) on Avenue a hit cover version from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley first performed at the Cameo Theatre in Miami at Midem. In Midem's Cameo Theatre Marley performed a set which was aired live on the Caribbean News Agency to 36 nations. Marley's name was the subject of a bid war. He signed with Gee Street/V2 Records in 1997 where he completed an album with label partner P.M. Dawn who was the lead singer on Gotta To Movin on Up. He is the only child to Bob Marley and his table tennis champion wife Anita Belnavis. Ky-Mani Marley, Jamaican Reggae Singer is among the most successful Reggae singers. When he was a kid Marley favored playing games rather than listening to music. However, his mother urged her son to take up music and piano.
